Features

Everything the paycheck needs.

Five tabs built around one question: what do your dividends actually pay you, and when. Nothing here routes an order or connects to a brokerage.

The five tabs

Dashboard, Portfolio, Calendar, News, Settings

Dashboard

This week's estimated paycheck — cash vs. DRIP if you've tagged it — plus a daily / monthly / yearly toggle, upcoming payouts with buy-by / ex-date / paid-on timing, your monthly goal and progress, and simple safety notes like dividend raises, cuts, and payout streaks. Not a credit rating — just plain signals from the payout history.

Portfolio

Every holding in one sortable, searchable list. Add a DRIP toggle, a tax flavor (qualified / ordinary / unknown), notes, and an average cost to see yield on cost per position. Share a month's estimate as plain text when someone asks "how much did that pay you?"

Calendar

A month grid marking estimated pay dates. Each entry shows buy-by (the last day to own shares for that payout), ex-date, and paid-on, labeled declared vs. estimated so you always know how firm a number is.

News

Headlines for the tickers you actually hold, plus a bit of general market news for context. No live quotes, no order tickets — just reading material.

Settings

Set your monthly paycheck goal, switch appearance (light, dark, or system) and accent tint, manage accounts and your watchlist, review import notes, and find the legal and privacy copy — all in one place.

Getting your holdings in

Type them in, or import a CSV

No brokerage login, ever. Import is a one-time file, not a live sync.

Supported imports

Position exports from Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, and IBKR, or a simple ticker, shares list you paste or type. Cash, money-market funds, and options positions are skipped automatically.

Per-holding detail

DRIP toggle, tax flavor tag, free-text notes, and an average cost basis so DivCheck can show yield on cost alongside the raw payout estimate.

Find things fast

Sort and search your holdings list, and ask Siri or the App Shortcut "What's my DivCheck paycheck this week" for a quick answer without opening the app.

Notifications

Reminders that stay out of your way

Payday reminders

A local notification the morning of a payout, and optionally 1–14 days ahead, so nothing lands as a surprise.

Raises, cuts, and pauses

A heads-up when a holding's payout changes meaningfully, so you can decide whether to look closer.

Monthly goal check-ins

A nudge when you're closing in on — or falling behind — your monthly income goal.

All notifications are local to your iPhone — DivCheck doesn't run a server that pushes them to you.

Unlock — $9.99 once

What the one-time unlock adds

No subscription. Everything below is a single purchase, restorable from the paywall.

Unlimited holdings & accounts

Go past 15 holdings, and split things across taxable, brokerage, IRA, Roth, or a spouse's account.

Watchlist

Track tickers you don't own yet — DivCheck's own list, separate from anything in Apple's Stocks app.

Log received deposits

Record what actually hit your account and compare it against the month's estimate, so the dashboard isn't only a forecast.

Plan a purchase (what-if)

Pick any ticker — owned or not — and a share count to see monthly and yearly income before vs. after, the cost at the last price, and how it moves your goal. Add straight to your portfolio or watchlist.

Income mix

A breakdown of which holdings actually fund the paycheck, so you can see concentration at a glance.

Tax-flavor sketch

A year-to-date rollup by tax flavor tag — qualified, ordinary, unknown. Helpful context, not a 1099-DIV.

Export & backup

Export holdings and deposits to CSV, or back everything up to a JSON file you control — saved wherever you like, not synced to iCloud automatically.

Widgets

Home Screen widgets in small, medium, and large sizes, plus Lock Screen widgets (circular, rectangular, inline) for this week, next month, six months, the year, or goal progress.

Live Activity

Keep this week's paycheck visible from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while it's running.
